Time once again to haul out at Robbie’s on Stock Island. For over a decade our routine has been to store the boat and return to Needham for nine months of work. Now that we’re retired and won’t be returning to Needham, it’s time to get down to work on a long-awaited major restoration.
It’s going to be a lot of hard work–at least 12-18 months, depending on what we find when we take a closer look.
The first order of business is getting everything out of the boat and setting up our space for work. We’re renting a 10×15′ storage unit of Sotck Island where we can store tools, supplies, and boat gear during the refit.
